Omega Bio-tek is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable ESG Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be a key advisor helping our organization integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into our core business strategies. You will collaborate closely with leadership to develop and implement ESG policies that align with corporate objectives and industry standards.

What you will do: 

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of environmental, social, and governance practices within the organization. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies and operations. 

• Lead the identification, collection, and verification of ESG data for external disclosure, ensuring compliance with major reporting frameworks and standards (e.g., SASB, GRI, TCFD, ISSB). 

• Analyze and interpret ESG-related data, prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory compliance and public disclosures. 

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and governance practices. 

• Engage with internal and external partners to stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory changes related to ESG. 

• Contribute to the development and communication of ESG policies and initiatives, supporting stakeholder engagement activities and addressing inquiries related to ESG practices. 

• Collaborate with marketing on the design, content development, and implementation of the company’s Impact Report. 

• Assist in the development of key corporate documents and annual reports. 

What you will need: 

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of ESG reporting frameworks and standards, including SASB, GRI, TCFD, and ISSB. 

• Experience with ESG ratings and ranking organizations such as ISS, MSCI, Sustainalytics, and CDP. 

• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

What you will bring: 

• Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to synthesize and present information effectively. 

• Strong research and writing skills, with a natural curiosity to learn new concepts and industry best practices. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Professional. 

• Preference given to experience in regulated environments and experience with ISO 14001 implementation, management, or auditing.
